It’s been a while since I’ve posted, and like most people, I’m doing my best to stay positive during this time. I’m enjoying the Florida sunshine and hanging out with my parents. I guess the best part about this is being able to hang out with those I love most. I’ve even been cooking everyday lol. I am pretty much a whole New Yorker at this point; I used to hate cooking, but I’ve found enjoyment in that again. I’ve picked up reading books, journaling, and reconnecting with old friends I’d lost touch with over the years.

To be honest, my usual dress-up self has not been dressing up. I’ve found an extreme pleasure in wearing leggings and simple tops all day. Go ahead and judge me, but I know you’ve been doing it too! However, dressing up lifts my spirit, so when I was asked to partner with Walmart on the latest spring/summer trends, I was super happy to do so. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I love the clothing options at Walmart. I’m always pleasantly surprised by the trendy fashion offerings available for plus size women. They have so many beautiful options that don’t break the bank.

I spotted this tiered maxi dress from Sophia Vegara and fell in love. Maxi dresses during this season are my go-to. I love an item that makes dressing up or down easy. The print of this dress is bold, and the fabric is super comfortable. I love an effortless slay. You know when I love a dress, I have to get it in every color/print possible, and that’s exactly what I did lol. I can feel your judgment though the screen. It’s totally worth it. This dress is casual enough to wear around the house, but also cute enough for that Zoom date you’ll be having later. I purchased this dress in a 3xl and it fit perfectly. I love the length because it covers my feet. I find often with maxi dresses that they stop at the ankles, but I love how this dress sweeps the floor.
