Brown is my happy color

I love the color brown. All shades of brown. It’s one of those colors that literally looks good on everyone. Especially women of color. I love to wear this color all year round, but the fall season is my favorite time of year to wear it. Who doesn’t love a nice tan coat, brown ankle boot, or chocolate bodycon dress?

I was inspired to pair this outfit together from this gorgeous chocolate midi pleated skirt I spotted on Amazon Fashion. If you’ve been following me on social media, you know my huge obsession with Amazon. They truly have so many hidden gems, like this skirt.

The skirt comes in many colors and goes up to 3XL. The best part is, it’s under $20! With a steal like that, I purchased the light tan color and white. I can’t get enough of this comfortable skirt. Fall season equals turtleneck season. I don’t know what it is about a turtleneck that makes me feel so fancy lol. I even get an accent sometimes, depending on what I’m wearing it with. I spotted this turtleneck on Walmart from their Time and Tru collection. The fabric is super soft and of great quality for the price. You will see me in turtlenecks all season long, so be prepared.

Let’s talk hats. If you’re anything like me, your parents were kind enough to bless you with a big head. Finding a hat that fits my head is almost next to impossible. I often wear men’s hats. Surprisingly, I spotted this beret on Amazon and it fit perfectly. If you have a lot of hair, this will fit you as well. The beret was a great addition to my outfit. I feel it gave it something extra.

It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t add a touch of animal print. I paired the look with a pair of leopard heels I’ve had since forever, but I would’ve easily paired it with a chocolate or tan bootie.
