Golden confidence was co-founded by Essie Golden in 2012 when she was inspired to create more exposure for underrepresented bodies.

In 2016, #GoldenConfidence hosted a wildly successful pool party event that encouraged people to have the confidence to wear the swimsuit suits that wanted to, make friends, and love their bodies.
