Is it just me, or does this fall dress scream the song “Wild Thang?” Lol. The song is playing in my head as I look at the pictures of this Scoops dress from Walmart. Judge me not. As you can see, fall fashion is in full swing, and I’m beyond excited to showcase looks during my favorite season of the year. Even though it’s still 80 plus degrees in Florida, it’s not going to stop me from enjoying all the fashion this season brings. Sweat and all. You guys are going to get these fall looks lol.

Nothing says fall fashion more than cozy sweaters and thigh-high boots. I spotted this dress on Walmart, and of course, I had to have it. I’m a girl that wears animal prints year-round. Adding this Scoops dress to my collection was a no brainer. Scoops is a brand under the Walmart umbrella that has trendy pieces that don’t break the bank. What I love most about the dress is its beautiful green color. I’m never one to shy away from color, but if that’s not your thing, this dress comes in gray and a neutral camo print. As a plus size woman, I don’t think we should ever shy away from a bold print. We can look good in absolutely anything.

A staple piece in any fall fashion closet is a boot. That could be an ankle, bootie, or my favorite, over the knee or thigh-high boot. I paired this dress with thigh-high boot since this dress was mid-thigh, and I wanted to show a peek of thigh. There’s nothing wrong with showing a little leg in the fall, but if that’s uncomfortable for you, you can easily add a pair of tights. I always look and feel my best when I’m comfortable. Whatever comfort looks like for you, wear that.

Don’t forget to accessorize your look. If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know I love hats. There’s something about adding a hat to an outfit that really takes a look to the next level. I added a red beret to complete my ensemble. I often hear from others how berets look so good on me but wouldn’t look like that on them. That’s a lie, lol. As I stated previously, you can wear any look you want. It’s all about finding the right one for you. Since the beret isn’t as restricting as a structured hat, I didn’t have to worry too much about the fit. However, because I do have a larger head (thanks, mom), I purchase all of my structured and fitted hats from the men’s section. Yes, I shop the men’s section for my fall hats.
