Summer summer summer time! I know that sounds corny, but work with me. The weather has finally gotten better in New York City and I’m super excited. I’m ready for rooftop brunches, frozen margaritas and pool days wearing nothing but swimsuits and cover-ups. The less clothes the better.
Speaking of swimsuits. I spotted this gorgeous bright orange two-piece swimsuit on Cacique’s website and I couldn’t add it to my cart fast enough. What I love so much about this top, besides the color that makes my skin look amazing, is the T-shirt tie detail. Which got me thinking that I could get away with wearing it as a top, too! Very often with swimwear, top support is lacking. I can always find a way to make it work, but often I’m left unhappy with how my boobs look after an hour. This top gave me the support I needed and then some. I was so happy with the fit of the top when I tried it on that I ended up walking around the house admiring myself—of course, for a few hours, and the support never let me down lol. I see so many less curvy and smaller breasted women wear bikini or bandeau tops in the summer, and I’m filled with envy because I never get tops that offer me the support and comfort I need. As a 38K bra size, I let that dream die a long time ago. I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot!
Instead of just wearing the top and matching boy shorts bottom, I wanted to show you just how versatile this top is. I shot this top with a striped skirt from Lane Bryant that is perfect for summer. The fabric is a stretch cotton that is breathable for the warm weather. It has a nice side slit that adds the right amount of sexy and fun. I paired this skirt with a pair of mules. This look could wailerbe paired with a nice pair of sneakers. If you’ve been following my post on Instagram, I’m all about sneakers at the moment. Comfort can be cute!
What are your thoughts on this look? Are you into wearing swim tops as regular tops? Thanks for reading. Comments and shares are welcomed.
